Dear friends of the historic motor sports,
Liebe Freunde des historischen Motorsports,

already announced at the beginning of January, you will find attached the key facts of the CLASSIC-RACING-LEAGUE C-R-L (the subsequent race series of the GTC-TC).
wie bereits Anfang Januar angekündigt, findet Ihr im Anhang, die Eckdaten der CLASSIC-RACING-LEAGUE C-R-L (Nachfolgeserie der GTC-TC).

The focus of this race series should be first and foremost lots of fun as well as low-budget motor sports. Therefore please pay special attention to the point “Classification”. In the C-R-L, it does not matter, who owns the best, most expensive and fastest car in his category but that each participant finds his “rival” in a “time class” (League) which suits him best. This means for example that a optimally “tuned” Triumph will drive against an “original” Ford Mustang or that a “super” Lotus Elan will drive against a “standard” BMW M1, etc, etc. After the race, all participants will be awarded their points and trophies only according to the positions secured in their “Leagues”.
Im Fokus dieser Rennserie soll vor allem der Spaß sowie kostengünstiger Motorsport stehen. Bitte beachtet deshalb beim Lesen insbesondere den Punkt “Wertung”. Es kommt bei der C-R-L nicht darauf an, wer das beste, teuerste und schnellste Fahrzeug seiner Kategorie hat, sondern jeder Teilnehmer findet seinen Gegner in einer zu ihm passenden “Zeitklasse” (League). Das heißt z. B. dass ein optimal “getunter” Triumph gegen einen “originalen” Ford Mustang oder ein “super” Lotus Elan gegen einen “serienmäßigen” BMW M1, etc, etc. fährt. Nach dem Rennen erhalten alle Teilnehmer ausschließlich Ihre Punkte und Pokale nach der Platzierung in ihrer “League”.

This classification also gives us the possibility to start smoothly together with other historic race series sometimes. In this way, we can make sure that we not only have full and varied starting grids – and more fun for all participants – but that this even helps to make our races fundable.
Diese Wertung gibt uns auch die Möglichkeit problemlos manchmal mit anderen historischen Rennserien gemeinsam an den Start zu gehen. Damit sichern wir uns nicht nur volle, abwechslungsreiche Starterfelder – und damit mehr Spaß für alle Teilnehmer – sondern es hilft vor allem sehr unsere Rennen überhaupt noch finanzierbar zu machen.

Even the entry fee could be reduced in comparsion to the 2009 season (see Registration and Entry Form).
Auch das Nenngeld konnte gegenüber der Saison 2009 etwas gesenkt werden (siehe Einschreibung und Nennung).
